On May 12th, Chitron Electronics immediately learned the earthquake news from the Branch Company located in Mianyang County, and gave close concerns about what happened in the earthquake-stricken area. Fortunately, our colleagues in Mianyang Branch Company and their families were all safe, though the branch company and colleagues working there suffered property losses in a certain degree. We fought together and offered helps to each other, and our liaison team kept in touch with our colleagues working in the earthquake-stricken area, discussing about assistance matters to relieve sufferings of our colleagues and other people in the earth-quake-stricken area.
On the third day after the occurrence of the disastrous earthquake, Zhenzhou Wu, chairman of the board and the general manager, issued the declaration of “Offer Our Hands”in the company. Mr. Wu claimed: “Help the disastrous area, and emit conscientious light to lighten yourself and others!”, “The donation is not enough to help all the victims, but even if we can help one of the victims who are in great need of help, we have made great contributions to ourselves and the whole society as well!”
Employees of Chitron Electronics actively and voluntarily expressed their concerns and love. Till now, employees of Chitron Electronics have spontaneously made a donation of nearly RMB120,000.00 Yuan (with the donation reaching up to RMB701.82 Yuan per person), the Employee Mutual Fund Committee has made a donation of RMB30,000.00 Yuan, and the company has donated RMB10,000.00 Yuan, with the total amount rising up to RMB250,000.00 Yuan. The donations will be directly used to help the victims in the earthquake-stricken area to reconstruct their homeland through the organization of our branch company in Mianyang County.
Tears, cry for others; tears, purify our conscience; tears, stimulate awe-inspiring courage. Tears show great love and great love demands no return. Let’s hope that our society can expressed more love!
